Metadata column

Data about data

Updated over 4 months ago

By default, the most common metadata columns are created for a new project:

File name - Description - Version - Format - Target - Revision - Revision date - Upload date and time - Size - 3D - Project - Uploaded by - Path/Location in folder structure

Custom metadata columns and predefined values can be created for metadata. For example, a Status column with values such as planning, preliminary, as-built, etc. This ensures that these values are the only options available and easy to select when associating metadata.

All metadata columns can be searched and filtered.

Standard metadata columns for files or custom metadata columns can be copied and reused from project to project or copied from the user's standard folder structure, groups, permissions, and metadata columns. This eliminates the need to manually create them repeatedly.

Users have the option to choose which metadata should be displayed and hidden in columns and the metadata area, as well as the ability to change the order of the columns.
