As a project administrator, you can configure user permissions related to tasks under Groups and Permissions.
User permissions are determined by the group they are invited to.
In the overview, users can be assigned the following permissions related to tasks:
Create/Delete Tasks
Edit Tasks
View Tasks
In addition, watchers can be assigned to individual tasks when they are created.
