Considerations Before You Start

Your prequalification starts as a draft, and therefore the information below is just for consideration by the prequalification administrator before you begin.

  • Name of the prequalification

  • Text for the email invitation

  • Deadline for submission of applications

  • Setup of digital submission requirements

The following information should be included in the prequalification materials.

  • Provide the type of tender
Information regarding the conditions for carrying out the tender.

  • Provide the type of contract
Information relevant to the scope of the contract (e.g., specialty, large, general, or turnkey contracts). The contract can be named as desired.

  • Provide the award criterion
For example, "Lowest price" or "Most economically advantageous bid."

  • Provide information on the holding of the bid
The bidder will gain access to the tender materials via an invitation when the tender administrator sends out the digital tender. The login and password for byggeprojekt.dk are included in the invitation.

Step 1: Create Prequalification

You have two options for creating a prequalification. Either via:

  • File Area [Project Web Module]

  • Tender Module

Option 1: Create Prequalification via the Tender Module

  1. Click on the Tender tab in the main menu on the left.

  2. Click the New Tender button, and a window will open.

  3. Select the project and then Prequalification under the type of tender.

  4. Enter the title of the prequalification.

  5. Write an optional text message to the applicants in the Email Text field in the prequalification.
Note: This text will appear at the bottom of the email invitation sent to applicants in the digital prequalification. (At the top of the email invitation, an auto-generated text with a welcome message, login, and password will appear.)

You can format the text as desired and insert a logo or image. Please be aware that if you insert a logo or image, it must be a URL from a website.

Option 2: Create Prequalification via File Area

  1. Right-click on the project where you want to create a prequalification.

  2. Select Tender from the menu.

  3. A window with an overview of tenders will open. The overview will be empty until the first prequalification for the project is created. The following functions can be used in the overview:

  4. Click Add Prequalification.

  5. Enter the title of the prequalification.

  6. Write an optional text message to the applicants in the Email Text field in the prequalification. This text will appear at the bottom of the email invitation sent to applicants in the digital prequalification. (At the top of the email invitation, an auto-generated text with a welcome message, login, and password will appear.)

Note: You can format the text as desired and insert a logo or image. Please be aware that if you insert a logo or image, it must be a URL from a website.
