In Review, users are assigned different roles, each with specific permissions to ensure efficient collaboration and workflow management. Here are the roles and their corresponding permissions:

These roles and permissions can be customized within each review by the review manager. This flexibility allows managers to tailor the permissions to the specific needs of the review and ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to collaborate effectively. If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding your role or permissions, please reach out to your project administrator or review manager.

Review Manager

  • Edit annotations: Review managers can modify existing annotations within the review to provide updates or corrections.

  • Close/reopen annotations: They have the authority to mark annotations as resolved or reopen them for further discussion.

  • Upload files: Review managers can upload files to the review for reference or discussion purposes.

  • Edit workflow: Review Managers can force a step to be closed and change step deadlines in the workflow.

Reviewer

  • Create/edit annotations:
    Reviewers can create new annotations and edit existing ones to provide feedback or raise issues.

  • Close/reopen annotations:
    Similar to review managers, reviewers can mark annotations as resolved or reopen them as needed.

Viewer

Viewers have read-only access to the review. They can view annotations and associated files but cannot edit or create annotations.
